It’s a PlasmaSplasm Thanksgiving!!!
November 26th, 2007 by Brooke
Wow, has the PlasmaSplasm household been busy during the last month. We are actually all working right now; but not only that, work has been incredibly busy for all of us these days. Gone are the leisure hours where I can take a chunk of my work day to perfectly craft my Splasm post. However, considering my dream last night (the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend) consisted of me dropping everything, without telling anyone, to be an unpaid intern on Anthony Bourdain’s show as he travels to some amazing, magic island paradise, while all my co-workers frantically try to track me down, I feel my cubicle is really quite lucky to have me here at all; hence, I post!
These four days of Thanksgiving were really very special and just what we all needed. The friends were many, the food was plentiful and the gaming was awesome! Here’s a quick run-down to take you through the chaos of Thanksgiving evening:
-Mike had two lovely friends come down to stay a couple days. They cooked many delicious things.
-Mike and Ces invited friends from work to join in our dinner. There were about 10 guests in all.
-Will was also invited, but he bailed. (Said he was “sick.”)
-My diningroom table was broken down and transported in pieces to Mike and Ces’s to accommodate all the people.
-There were so many pies, we actually forgot about several of them.
-One of Mike’s co-workers brought a TV and an Xbox.
-Seven of us played Halo online together - ALL AT THE SAME TIME.
-Rob still felt he needed his headset to talk to people.
-ROCK BAND IS AWESOME!
I think that covers the basics. Now, on to the specifics.
