My bumper is broken!
This has got to stop! It really, really must just fucking stop. Who can I write a letter to? God? Mayor Villaraigosa? Honda? Should I ask them to make cars that people like to fuck up less?
Last night marks Incident Number 4 in under a year. I was only actually in the car for Incident Number 1, an accident where a clever man decided that, since he couldn’t actually see around the traffic, it was probably safe to make a left turn. For all other incidents, I was nowhere near my car. Incident Number 2, I was asleep in my bed. Incident Number 3, I was visiting mom. Incident Number 4, playing Oblivion.
I can find no common denominator here except my car. It always happened in a different place, during a different time of day, by a different type of person (family, neighbor, criminal). So, the only conclusion I can come up with is that it just must be my car.

College Humor has a different vibe than it used to when I was in college. They’re really keeping it up, I especially like their produced original content. It’s also good to note that the top ten lists on cracked.com are better than the magazine ever was:

The following is my review of the second X-Files movie, I Want To Believe. It is incomplete, but is so long you probably will be thankful for that. I had written it right after seeing the movie in theaters, but then something stopped me. I forget what it was. A question for the ages, I suppose. Anyway, without further ado, my incomplete-but-you-get-where-I’m-going review of The X-Files: I Want To Belive originally entitled “I really, really want to believe. Really.”

Mike called me lazy, so I guess I now have to prove him wrong. Three things I will talk about: iPhones and Xboxes and zombies.
Topic Number One: iPhones! Read the rest of this entry »

Ces, Will, Mike and Brooke haven’t been posting for a long time!
Cesare is still working at UA: he can’t blog or else the ceiling knives descend on him.
Mike is still working at FOX: he can’t blog, but he does twitter:
http://twitter.com/lasertag
Will is still at school, learning how to light things up. He’s a fireman. No, he’s a cinematographer at AFI, whatever the fuck that means.
Brooke…has no excuse. She doesn’t blog because she is lazy. A lazy english major? Yes. You can learn more about her from what she watches instead of blogging:

I’m sure that there will be some shakeup, and someday we’ll get back to blogging. Sorry, everyone* who reads this!
*nobody.
We may not post, but we also aren’t going bankrupt like the Tribune. HA.

If you’re looking up places to live when moving out here, then use this handy map. Just look up the address on craigslist (of the apartment you’re thinking of living in) and see how it corresponds to this information.

About a year ago now, in what feels like a completely different lifetime, the boys all bought themselves iPhones. Today, I can’t image their lives without them, they have become so integrated. And I cannot deny that they are handy little things. Even I make use of them. Every time we are watching a show and I know I recognize that actress from somewhere, I just shake the nearest boy and his iPhone comes tumbling into my hands like the ripest peach falling from the loveliest tree in the orchard. (I recognized that actress from Love, Actually, by the way.)

Okay, so the days at South Park started feeling longer and longer… so I cashed in my change and bought me a kindle. It helped that I had a $50 amazon giftcard sitting around, and it also helped that I talked myself into it.
I don’t know how it happened! Usually I only get nonsense-excited over gadgets when it has an apple logo emblazoned on it. The kindle doesn’t even LOOK like an apple product, it should have no sway over me!
And yet, if it does all it claims to…I can’t help it.
For more on what a loser I am, continue reading.
